Zero Conditional.

ZERO CONDITIONAL

The zero conditional is use for talk universal truths, that is, fact that always occur when a conditional occurs.

EXAMPLE:

  • If you touch a fire, you get burned.

With all the conditionals you can turn the sentences, you can start with the resulting clause an in this case it doesn't get comma, example:
  • You get burned if you touch a fire.

The zero conditional is formed by two sentences, the conditional clause and the resulting clause those are in the present simple.

*The ZERO CONDITIONAL if can also be used to give orders or instructions.
